Role Description This is a contract, hybrid Public Relations Coordinator role based in Thiruvananthapuram, with some flexibility for work from home.

The Public Relations

Coordinator will support the planning and execution of PR activities, including drafting press releases, organizing media events, and maintaining up-to-date media lists. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to gather information, preparing communication materials, and ensuring consistent messaging across channels. The coordinator will monitor media coverage, track PR results, and assist in managing relationships with journalists, influencers, and other stakeholders.





The position also includes supporting strategic communications initiatives, such as campaign planning, content development, and reporting on PR performance.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Public Relations and Media Relations, with experience building and maintaining professional relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Ability to draft and edit Press Releases and other PR materials with clear, accurate, and engaging language.
- Excellent Communication and Strategic Communications skills, including the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and channels.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a hybrid setup, with the ability to collaborate effectively both in office in Thiruvananthapuram and remotely.
- Proficiency with basic office software and familiarity with media monitoring or PR tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a PR, communications, or marketing role is preferred but not mandatory.
