The organization focuses on holistic development of entire communities, with a special emphasis on villages in rural India. Through the “Saksham Bharat” initiative, Srijan Ek Soch supports talented students from local government schools until they can independently support their families and communities.

The “Swasth Bharat” campaign promotes healthy living by organizing blood donation drives, disease awareness camps, and health checkups in rural areas. The “Nipun Bharat” initiative introduces relevant technologies and skills, including skill development workshops and centers in regions such as Maharashtra and villages around Kaithi, to enable sustainable community empowerment.

Role Description The Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring education, health, and skill development programs across targeted villages and communities. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with local stakeholders and partners, overseeing field teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring program activities align with organizational goals.

The Program

Manager will track impact metrics, prepare regular reports,



and support fundraising and proposal development as needed. The role also involves identifying opportunities to expand initiatives, organizing workshops and community events, and maintaining strong relationships with schools, healthcare providers, and local leaders.

Qualifications

- Program and project management skills, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of community-based initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills to work effectively with local communities, government schools, health professionals, and partner organizations.
- Experience in social sector or NGO work, preferably in education, public health, or skill development programs.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report program data to assess impact and support decision-making.
- Proficiency in documentation, report writing, and basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, email, online collaboration tools).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Health, Education, Management, or a related field.
- Robust organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Comfort working on-site in rural or semi-urban settings, with willingness to travel to program locations as required.
- Language skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of local dialects is an advantage.
