Program Manager (Technical)

Location: Bangalore (Domlur)

Experience: 10–15 Years

We are looking for a highly technical, business-orientated programme manager who can own complex software delivery from concept to production.

This is not a traditional project coordination role. We need someone who takes complete ownership of delivery, works directly with customers, challenges requirements, manages risks, and drives cross-functional teams to successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, Business, Operations, and Customer stakeholders while ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.

Candidates from technology services organizations who have delivered enterprise software implementations in quick-paced environments will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Program Ownership

- Own the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering to production release.
- Translate business requirements into actionable engineering workstreams.
- Drive planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Ensure successful delivery across multiple parallel initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as the bridge between customers, business teams, engineering, QA, DevOps, and operations.
- Build credibility with senior stakeholders and influence decisions without formal authority.
- Manage expectations, resolve conflicts,



and drive alignment across functions.
- Escalate issues effectively while maintaining strong working relationships.

Technical Program Management

- Work closely with architects and engineering teams to understand technical dependencies.
- Review solution approaches with engineering.
- Understand APIs, cloud platforms, system integrations, databases, and enterprise architecture.
- Be hands-on enough to install, configure, demo, and explain the product to customers when required.

Delivery & Governance

- Drive program governance, planning, RAID management, dependency tracking, and release readiness.
- Monitor delivery milestones, risks, blockers, and resource planning.
- Lead steering committee meetings and executive status reviews.
- Ensure predictable and high-quality execution.

Business Ownership

- Understand customer business problems instead of simply collecting requirements.
- Challenge unclear requirements and recommend better approaches.
- Balance technical feasibility with business priorities.
- Drive adoption and business outcomes after implementation.

Required Skills

- 10–15 years of experience in Program Management, Technical Program Management, or Enterprise Delivery.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).




- Experience managing enterprise software implementation programs.
- Strong stakeholder management across Engineering, Product, QA, Business, and Customers.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
- Strong risk management, dependency management, and release planning experience.
- Ability to influence senior leadership across multiple functions.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments.

- Candidates who started their career as Software Developers and transitioned into Program Management are highly preferred.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams is desirable.
