Role Description The Production Merchandiser will manage the end-to-end merchandising process, from sample development to bulk production, ensuring products align with design concepts, quality standards, and timelines. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with designers, suppliers, and production units; tracking orders; monitoring fabric and trim availability; and maintaining accurate product specifications and documentation. The role also involves overseeing quality checks, supporting inventory planning,



and working closely with retail and marketing teams to ensure the right product mix is available in stores.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in India, requiring regular collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to meet production and delivery targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and retail customers.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to support product placement, merchandising decisions, and in-store performance.
- Candidates should possess Marketing skills to collaborate on product launches, promotional activities, and visual merchandising.
- Candidates should have knowledge of garment production, fabrics, and trims, along with basic understanding of quality control and supply chain processes.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and time-management abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency with spreadsheets or merchandising software.
- A diploma or degree in fashion, textiles, merchandising, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in apparel production or fashion retail.
