Company Description Maxinor- AI & Tech Services builds and staffs embedded engineering pods for funded startups and enterprises. We are a lean team and this pod specifically embeds dedicated named validation engineers directly inside a client's engineering workflow on a live production product handling real-time secure data at scale.

Role Description The Product Validation Engineer will be responsible for validating and testing products to ensure they meet functional, performance and safety requirements in an on-site role based in Bengaluru. This full-time position involves designing and executing test plans, setting up test environments and systematically debugging issues. The engineer will collaborate with product development teams to review specifications, provide feedback on design for testability and support continuous improvement of product quality.

Qualifications

- 3–6 years of hands-on QA experience, including test case writing, manual test execution and bug tracking (Jira or similar).
- Solid API and Web application testing experience - validating responses, status codes, error handling and data correctness (Postman or similar).
- Writing and maintaining test cases directly from PRDs and technical specs - functional, integration, API and end-to-end scenarios.
- Running full test cycles each sprint:



functional testing, API testing (Postman or similar), regression testing and exploratory testing on new builds.
- Logging bugs with accurate reproducible steps, screenshots or recordings, environment details and expected vs. actual behaviour - classified Blocker / Major / Minor and tracked to closure.
- Owning test leakage as a metric: tracking defects that escape to production, running root-cause analysis, and closing the coverage gap that let them through.
- Maintaining the regression suite - retiring stale cases, adding new ones as features change, flagging anything that behaved correctly before and doesn't now.
- Retesting fixed bugs and formally closing them with confirmation evidence.
- Issuing a release/merge certification for every build, backed by test evidence, evidence attached.
- Reporting weekly QA metrics: test cases executed, pass/fail rate, defects logged vs. closed, defect density, and recurring bug patterns.
- Participating in on sprint planning, PRD reviews, and release calls not just receiving tickets after the fact.
- Experience in Automation (Selenium, RestAssured)
- Knowledge of Cloud and related technologies
