About trplin.com trplin.com is a travel marketplace connecting travelers with curated, local travel guides. We’re building a platform where great travel experiences and knowledge can be packaged into useful travel guides and discovered, purchased, and experienced by travelers.

We’re looking for Operations Interns who will help us build and run the engine behind the marketplace.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work closely with the founding team across the entire guide lifecycle — from bringing a new travel guide onto the platform to making sure customers have a great experience.

?‍? Guide Onboarding

•⁠ ⁠Identify and onboard travel guides from different destinations and travel communities.

•⁠ ⁠Reach out to potential guides and explain how trplin.com works.

•⁠ ⁠Help guides create, structure and publish their travel guides.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure guides have the information, content and assets required to go live.

•⁠ ⁠Build strong relationships with guides and help them get started successfully.

? Guide Success & Activation

•⁠ ⁠Help newly onboarded guides understand how to use the platform and generate sales.

•⁠ ⁠Track guide activity and identify guides who need additional support.

•⁠ ⁠Experiment with ways to improve guide activation, engagement and sales.

•⁠ ⁠Work with guides to improve their listings based on customer behavior and feedback.

? Sales & Marketplace Operations

•⁠ ⁠Monitor guide sales, orders and marketplace performance.

•⁠ ⁠Track which guides, destinations and products are performing well.





•⁠ ⁠Identify issues affecting conversions or sales and work with the team to resolve them.

•⁠ ⁠Help develop processes to improve marketplace liquidity and guide performance.

? Fulfilment & Customer Experience

•⁠ ⁠Ensure customer purchases are fulfilled smoothly and on time.

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate between customers and guides when required.

•⁠ ⁠Handle operational issues, cancellations, changes and other customer requests.

•⁠ ⁠Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify recurring problems and opportunities.

? Operations & Analytics

•⁠ ⁠Maintain operational dashboards and trackers.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor key metrics such as guide onboarding, activation, sales, fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

•⁠ ⁠Identify operational bottlenecks and propose solutions.

•⁠ ⁠Create and improve SOPs and processes as we scale.

What We’re Looking For

•⁠ ⁠Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•⁠ ⁠Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

•⁠ ⁠Proactive — you don’t wait for someone to tell you what needs to be done.

•⁠ ⁠Comfortable talking to people over WhatsApp, email and calls.

•⁠ ⁠Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.





•⁠ ⁠Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets; basic data analysis is a plus.

•⁠ ⁠Interest in travel, marketplaces, startups or consumer products.

•⁠ ⁠Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.

•⁠ ⁠Most importantly: ownership mindset and willingness to figure things out.

Nice to Have

•⁠ ⁠Previous experience in operations, startups, travel, customer success, sales or marketplace businesses.

•⁠ ⁠Experience working with CRM, spreadsheets or analytics tools.

•⁠ ⁠Strong written communication.

•⁠ ⁠Experience creating processes/SOPs or managing projects.
