Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South for a Product Manager – Telematics and Automotive IoT Hardware. The role involves end-to-end ownership of telematics and automotive IoT hardware products, from market research and requirement gathering to roadmap definition, specification, and lifecycle management.

The Product

Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, firmware, cloud, and mobile application teams to define hardware features, ensure seamless integration with the broader telematics ecosystem, and drive timely releases.



Day-to-day activities include engaging with OEM and enterprise customers, understanding their use cases, prioritizing features, coordinating pilots and certifications, and monitoring product performance in the field. The role also includes aligning product strategy with business goals, preparing product documentation and training materials, supporting sales and pre-sales teams, and tracking competitive trends in connected mobility and automotive IoT hardware.

Qualifications

- Robust product management skills in hardware or IoT, including product lifecycle management, requirements definition, and roadmap planning.
- Knowledge of telematics, automotive electronics, embedded systems, and IoT hardware design or evaluation.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, firmware, cloud, and operations to deliver integrated solutions.
- Familiarity with connected mobility platforms, fleet management solutions, and automotive industry standards or certifications.
- Ability to perform market and customer research, analyze data, and translate insights into product features and priorities.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with capability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience engaging with OEMs, enterprise customers, or channel partners in a B2B technology environment is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, computer science, or a related technical field; a postgraduate degree in management or business is an advantage
