About the Role The Product Manager – Mutual Fund will be responsible for managing and expanding the investment product suite, including Mutual Funds (MF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and Alternative Investment Funds (AIF). The role involves onboarding recent products, conducting due diligence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building financial planning models. The incumbent will also manage relationships with Asset Management Companies (AMCs), third-party product providers, and internal stakeholders to drive product innovation and investor engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

- Onboard new investment products (MF, PMS, AIF) through evaluation, due diligence, suitability assessment, commercial negotiations, and process setup.
- Manage relationships with AMCs, third-party product providers, and internal business partners.
- Ensure adherence to legal and compliance requirements for all investment products.
- Participate in fund manager calls and contribute insights where relevant.
- Ideate and propose enhancements to the product basket to meet evolving customer needs.
- Maintain high standards of internal and external communication
- Data Analytics – Investment AUM and Sales across products and by different channels like Private Banking, Branches, NR, etc.




- Revenue Analysis and Improvisation – Trail book analysis and identify opportunities to improve income. Brokerage on investment products to be monitored and improvised.
- Collate and update weekly/monthly reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Secondary Responsibilities
- Work closely with Analytics team for MIS / Dashboards and platform enhancements to improve product visibility and operational efficiency.
- Support satisfactory completion of regulatory audits and compliances (EUIN, etc).
- Run investor education campaigns and assist in awareness initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

Education

- Postgraduation: CA / CFA / MBA / PGDM (Finance)

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking, wealth management, or asset management companies (AMCs).
- Prior experience in product management or investment advisory is preferred.

Skills and Attributes
- Strong knowledge of mutual funds; familiarity with PMS and AIF is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel automation.
- Self-starter with a proactive and motivated approach.
- In-depth understanding of investment products across asset classes.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver high-quality outcomes.
