Job Purpose/ Summary The role will support the development, improvement, and validation of new and existing products by applying engineering principles, creating detailed models and drawings, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product functionality, manufacturability, and alignment with customer and business requirements.

Product

Design &

• Development '- Develop 3D models, engineering drawings, and detailed design documentation for new and existing products.

- Support design and development of products across water storage, energy enclosures, infrastructure, and utility applications.
- Assist in concept development, feasibility studies, and translation of requirements into manufacturable designs. 2.

Design

Analysis &

• Validation - Perform design calculations, simulations, and performance analysis to ensure functional and structural integrity.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design validation activities.
- Assist in resolving design gaps identified during testing, trials, or field execution. 3.

Existing Product





Improvement &

• Optimization - Improve existing product designs for performance, quality, cost efficiency, and ease of installation.
- Support feature enhancements, standardization initiatives, and reduction of complexity in assemblies.
- Contribute to cost optimization through design simplification and material efficiency. 4.

Design

Documentation &

• Library Management - Maintain accurate design records, drawings, revision histories, and calculation files.
- Support development and upkeep of design libraries, standard models, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Ensure traceability of design changes and alignment with approved standards.
- Cross-Functional &
- Business Support - Collaborate with production, quality, procurement, and tooling teams during design transfer and industrialization.
- Provide technical support to sales and business teams through drawings, layouts, and product recommendations.
- Assist in customization and tender-based design support as per customer requirements.
- Field &
- Execution Support - Support installation guidelines, assembly drawings, and execution documentation for site applications.




- Assist in resolving site-level design or installation issues in coordination with field teams

Responsibility

Convert product requirements into precise 3D models and detailed technical drawings ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standardsbr Execute comprehensive design calculations and simulations to validate product performance and reliabilitybr Support the prototype build process and conduct thorough validation tests to ensure product quality and functionalitybr Enhance manufacturability and reduce costs through strategic design optimization and cutting-edge engineering solutionsbr Maintain strict adherence to Design for Manufacturing DFM and Design for Assembly DFA principles ensuring effective production processesbr Ensure all design documentation is versioncontrolled and uptodate facilitating seamless communication and collaboration across teams
