About the role ( two or three lines only )

As a Process Control Systems Engineer, you will support the engineering, implementation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial automation and process control systems. You will deliver high-quality engineering work, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, comply with relevant engineering standards and procedures, and continuously develop your technical expertise to contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

Your Responsibilities

Automation Engineering Support

- Assist in the engineering, design, configuration, programming, testing, and documentation of industrial control systems, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial networking solutions, under the guidance of senior engineers.

Engineering Design & Documentation

- Prepare engineering deliverables such as I/O lists, hardware specifications, control panel drawings, network diagrams, bill of materials, functional design specifications, and system documentation in accordance with company standards.

Software Development & Configuration

- Develop and modify PLC programs, SCADA applications, HMI graphics, alarms, trends, and system configurations while adhering to established engineering practices and coding standards.

Hardware Configuration & System Integration

- Support hardware configuration, factory system assembly, equipment setup, system integration, and validation activities to ensure reliable operation of automation systems.

Testing & Commissioning Support

- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT),



Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, startup, and system handover activities while assisting with issue resolution and performance verification.

Project Execution

- Complete assigned engineering tasks accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance with customer requirements and project objectives.

Customer & Team Collaboration

- Work collaboratively with project managers, senior engineers, commissioning teams, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support successful project execution and timely resolution of technical issues.

Technical Problem Solving

- Assist in troubleshooting control systems, diagnosing software and hardware issues, implementing corrective actions, and supporting warranty and service activities as required.

Continuous Learning & Professional Development

- Develop technical knowledge of automation platforms, industrial communication networks, Operational Technology (OT), cybersecurity fundamentals, and emerging technologies through training, mentoring, and hands-on project experience.

Standards, Quality & Safety

- Follow established engineering procedures, documentation standards, quality processes, cybersecurity guidelines, and safety regulations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

You bring

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, process control, or plant control system engineering. Strong understanding of cement plant processes and industrial automation systems.
- Proficiency in interpreting Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), control philosophies, and functional specifications.
- Good experience in PLC/DCS engineering, including programming, configuration, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, Schneider Electric,



or equivalent systems.
- Experience with SCADA/HMI development, visualization design, alarm management, and operator interface configuration.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols including Modbus, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, OPC, MQTT and related technologies.
- Familiarity with Intelligent Motor Control Centers (iMCCs), variable speed drives (VSDs), and field instrumentation integration.
- Experience in FAT, SAT, site commissioning, startup support, and customer acceptance activities.
- Familiarity with our proprietary ECS/ControlCenter solutions is an advantage.
- Strong project planning, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural and global project environments.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and professional development.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (occasionally) for project execution, commissioning, and customer support.
