Company Description IEEC Power Electronics Pvt. Ltd. Its systems for BOPET films are installed worldwide and have become standard equipment for leading converters, reflecting the company’s emphasis on personalized solutions and long-term customer partnerships.
Role Description The Power Electronics Engineer will design, develop, and test power electronic circuits and systems for Corona, Plasma Treatment, and related process control equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include circuit design and simulation, hardware prototyping, component selection, and performance optimization to meet safety, reliability, and efficiency requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems into existing machinery, supporting installation and commissioning, and troubleshooting issues in production and customer environments.
The engineer will prepare technical documentation, participate in design reviews, and contribute to continuous product improvement based on R&D; findings and customer feedback. This is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in power electronics, including converters, inverters, rectifiers, and high-voltage systems.
- Proficiency in circuit design and analysis using tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar simulation software.
- Experience with hardware development: PCB design, prototyping, testing, and validation of electronic systems.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems relevant to extrusion, converting, or surface treatment applications.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards, EMC/EMI considerations, and relevant industry regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications, and prepare clear documentation and reports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and customers.
- Prior experience in industrial electronics, high-frequency power systems, or similar domains is an advantage.
