About the role:

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer 2 to help improve developer experience (DevEx), streamline release processes, and build reliable internal tools and platforms. This is a hands on engineering role focused on solving developer productivity challenges, building automation and tooling, and contributing to scalable platform solutions in collaboration with senior engineers and partner teams.

What you will do:

- Contribute to building and improving the Platform Engineering (Developer Productivity) capabilities, working closely with senior engineers on roadmap and execution.
- Design and build internal tools and platforms that improve CI/CD, testing workflows, developer productivity, and infrastructure automation.
- Work with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, ephemeral environments, and service monitoring tools to improve engineering workflows and reliability.
- Partner with engineers across teams to understand developer pain points and build solutions that improve the overall developer experience.
- Follow and promote best practices around continuous delivery, developer efficiency, automation, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with other engineers to document solutions, share learnings, and drive adoption of platform capabilities across teams.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, contribute to technical discussions, and continuously improve through experimentation and learning.

What you will need:

- 4-6 years in software engineering with at least 1 years in platform/dev productivity roles.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Spinnaker/Jenkins/ArgoCD, IaC.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, dynamic test selection, code quality gates.
- Strong coding skills in Go, Python, or Java (Go preferred for tooling/frameworks).
- Experience designing ephemeral environments,



monitoring/observability tools.
- Proven track record of leading small teams, mentoring engineers, and driving large-scale initiatives.
- A background in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) or any open-source software (OSS) contributions would be a huge plus. Alternatively, having built something really cool to solve a difficult pain point for engineers or anything that helped ship things faster for the company or the OSS community would also be great.
- Strong communication and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
