Job Summary The Placement Manager – HMCT will be responsible for planning and executing placement strategies, strengthening industry relationships with leading hospitality brands, and facilitating successful placements, internships, and industry exposure opportunities for HMCT students.

Key Responsibilities

- Industry Collaboration & Tie-ups

Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotels, resorts, cruise lines, QSR chains, and other hospitality brands.Coordinate with HR and recruitment teams for campus hiring and recruitment drives. Identify and onboard recent recruiters and industry partners.
- Placement & Internship Management

Facilitate final placements and internship opportunities for HMCT students. Organize campus interviews, recruitment drives, and job fairs. Work towards maximizing placement opportunities for eligible students.
- Student Training & Development

Conduct and coordinate training sessions focused on:

Interview skills

Resume building

Grooming and professional etiquette, with a strong focus on hospitality industry standards

Mock interviews and group discussions

- Coordination with the Academic Team

Work closely with faculty members and program heads to ensure student readiness.

Track student performance and placement eligibility.

Support alignment between academic learning and evolving industry expectations.

- Database Management & Reporting





Maintain accurate student placement records and recruiter databases.

Prepare placement reports, MIS, and relevant analytics.

Monitor placement statistics, performance, and targets.

- Event Management

Organize industry visits, guest lectures, workshops, and other industry engagement initiatives.

Coordinate hospitality events that create meaningful networking opportunities for students.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Hospitality Management

5–7 years of experience in placements, training, or the hospitality industry

Prior experience working with an educational institution will be preferred
