Role Description The Physiotherapist will provide evidence-based physiotherapy services to inpatients and outpatients at SPARSH Hospital, Bengaluru. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patients’ physical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and rehabilitation techniques. The role involves closely monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate clinical records, and collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals to support integrated care.

The Physiotherapist will educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and long-term function. This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring active participation in clinical rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Formal education in Physiotherapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized institution).
- Relevant professional registration or licensure as required by regulatory authorities, with adherence to ethical and professional standards.
- Clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions, and development of individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Proficiency in therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, gait training, and post-operative rehabilitation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including clear documentation and reporting.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently, prioritize tasks, and maintain high-quality care in a rapid-paced hospital environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and hospital protocols, with a focus on empathy, respect, and culturally sensitive care.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, clinical audits, and quality improvement activities; prior hospital experience is an advantage.
