Role Description The Owner of Déjà vu | Nitj Official Film Making Club will oversee the club’s vision, strategy, and overall operations in a full time, on-site capacity in the Amritsar/Ludhiana area. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and supervising film projects, coordinating pre-production, production, and post-production activities, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within available resources. The role involves leading and mentoring club members, assigning responsibilities, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and creative environment.

The Owner will manage partnerships, event participation, and external communications, including coordinating with institutional authorities and industry contacts. Additional duties include organizing workshops, managing equipment and budgets, and maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism in all club productions.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in filmmaking or media production, including involvement in scriptwriting, directing, cinematography, or video editing.
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities,



with a commitment to inclusive and collaborative work practices.
- Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and meeting deadlines for multiple creative projects.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with club members, faculty, institutional stakeholders, and external partners.
- Organizational and administrative capabilities for handling budgets, equipment management, event coordination, and documentation.
- Passion for film, storytelling, and visual media, with a willingness to experiment, learn, and stay updated on industry trends and tools.
- Familiarity with common filmmaking tools and software (e.g., cameras, audio equipment, editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Availability to work on-site in the Amritsar/Ludhiana area and flexibility to support projects and events outside standard hours when required.
