Role Description The Owner role at Sapience Automata is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Owner will provide overall strategic direction, define long-term vision, and drive execution to advance the mission of making road safety accessible to every driver in India. Daily responsibilities include overseeing product strategy and development, guiding AI and engineering roadmaps, and aligning technology initiatives with market needs and regulatory requirements.

The role involves building and managing leadership teams, establishing partnerships with industry stakeholders and government bodies,



and securing resources and investments to support sustainable growth. The Owner will also be responsible for setting performance goals, monitoring key metrics, and ensuring strong organizational processes, governance, and a culture centered on safety, innovation, and ethical AI practices.

Qualifications

- Strategic leadership and vision-setting skills, including experience defining product and company roadmaps in technology or automotive domains.
- Strong business management capabilities, such as operations oversight, financial planning, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Background in automotive technology, AI, or related engineering fields, with familiarity in safety systems, predictive models, or ADAS-like solutions.
- Proven ability to build and lead diverse, cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and inclusive decision-making.
- Experience engaging with regulatory bodies, industry partners, and investors, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated commitment to social impact, ethical technology deployment, and customer-centric product development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; entrepreneurial or founder experience is highly beneficial.
