About the Department
The Global PlantLine Services Department at Fuller Technologies is a dedicated lifecycle services organization responsible for delivering comprehensive support, optimization, maintenance, and cybersecurity services for customers operating Fuller automation and digital solutions under PlantLine Agreements (PLA). The department provides 24x7 global remote support, proactive monitoring, performance optimization, lifecycle management, and cybersecurity services to maximize system reliability, availability, performance, and business value. With service agreements spanning more than 350 customer plants worldwide, the department plays a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, customer success, and long-term sustainability of automation investments.
About the Role: OT Cybersecurity & Network Engineer:
You will be part of our 24x7 Global Plantline Service Technical Support Team, responsible for securing, monitoring, and supporting Operational Technology (OT) networks and cybersecurity infrastructure for industrial automation systems deployed across global cement plants. The role includes management of cybersecurity solutions, network monitoring, endpoint protection, remote access security, firewall administration, incident response, compliance monitoring, and customer cybersecurity support activities.
The position plays a critical role in ensuring secure and reliable operation of plant automation systems, including process control systems, servers, operator stations, engineering stations, and industrial communication networks
Your Responsibilities
OT Network Management
- Monitor and maintain OT network infrastructure.
- Support industrial Ethernet networks, VLANs, switches,
routers, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot network communication issues impacting automation systems.
- Monitor network availability, performance, and security events.
- Support secured remote access solutions for customer plants.
- Coordinate network changes with plant and customer IT teams.
- Maintain OT network documentation and architecture diagrams.
Cyber Security Operations
- Administer endpoint security platforms including Trellix ePO.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies and standards.
- Monitor cybersecurity alerts and security events.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security reviews.
- Support implementation of defense-in-depth strategies for OT environments.
- Manage antivirus, application control, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Perform periodic cybersecurity health checks and compliance reviews.
Security Monitoring & Incident Response
- Monitor malware detections, policy violations, communication failures, and threat events.
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and coordinate remediation activities.
- Perform root-cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
- Escalate critical cybersecurity events according to SLA requirements.
- Maintain incident reports and lessons-learned documentation.
- Support customer audits and cybersecurity assessments.
OT System Monitoring
- Monitor health of automation servers and engineering workstations.
Monitor Process
Expert (PXP), ECS, QCX, historian, and related OT infrastructure.
- Review system alarms, communication failures, and operational events.
- Support proactive maintenance and system reliability programs.
- Coordinate with PlantLine support teams for issue resolution.
Compliance &
• Governance
- Ensure cybersecurity compliance across managed customer systems.
- Review endpoint compliance and software update status.
- Validate policy enforcement and security configurations.
- Support cybersecurity governance meetings.
- Maintain compliance reports and management dashboards.
- Support implementation of cybersecurity best practices and standards.
Customer Support &
• Engagement
- Provide remote cybersecurity and network support for global customers.
- Participate in customer review meetings.
- Support incident investigations and customer communications.
- Provide recommendations for cybersecurity improvements.
- Assist sales and service teams with cybersecurity solution deployment opportunities.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related engineering discipline.
- You bring 3–8 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
- OT networking
- Industrial automation
- Cybersecurity operations
- System administration
- Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
Technical expertise
- OT &
• Industrial Systems: Industrial Ethernet networks, OPC communications, automation system architecture, process control systems, Windows Server administration, and virtualization platforms.
- Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching, VLAN configuration, firewall administration, and VPN management.
- Cybersecurity: Trellix ePO administration, endpoint security, application control and whitelisting, malware analysis, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
- Tools &
• Technologies: Trellix ePO, endpoint security platforms, industrial firewalls, remote-access solutions, Power BI, Microsoft 365, and OT monitoring platforms.
Preferred Certifications Relevant certifications are an advantage, including Trellix Certified Professional, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Security+, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity, Microsoft Security certifications, or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker).
