CoreCode Toronto is an online coding academy dedicated to empowering K-12 students with essential logic, programming, and artificial intelligence skills. Through live, highly interactive 1:1 online sessions, we guide students from passive technology consumers into active digital creators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver live, 1-on-1 and small-group interactive coding lessons to K-12 students.
- Teach foundational programming concepts using Scratch, Python, visual block coding, and basic AI/Machine Learning tools.
- Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and keep parents updated on key milestones.
- Conduct engaging 30-minute trial/demo sessions for prospective students.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills:
Strong background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, STEM, or Mathematics. Proficiency in Python and Scratch is required.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal English skills with a clear, engaging tone suitable for international young learners.
- Tech Setup: Mandatory high-speed, stable internet connection, HD webcam (video-on policy), and a quiet, professional environment with a noise-canceling headset.
- Pedagogy: Patient, encouraging, punctual, and enthusiastic about teaching kids.
