Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Ocean Import Executive role based in New Delhi.

The Ocean Import

Executive will manage end-to-end ocean import operations, including coordinating shipments, tracking cargo, and ensuring timely delivery in line with customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing import documentation, liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams, and resolving operational issues. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, updating customers on shipment status, handling queries, and supporting compliance with trade regulations and company policies.

Executive will contribute to process optimization, cost efficiency, and high service standards within the import logistics function.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Import Logistics and Import operations, with a solid understanding of ocean freight processes and documentation.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with clients, partners, and internal teams and to manage shipment-related queries professionally.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Export procedures and related trade practices, supporting coordination with international counterparts when required.
- Relevant skills such as familiarity with customs regulations, incoterms, and trade compliance are beneficial.
- Prior experience in ocean import or freight forwarding, preferably within an international logistics environment, is an advantage.
- Proficiency in standard office software and logistics management systems, along with strong organizational and time-management abilities, is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field is desirable.
