Job Summary

Intelix Systems is seeking experienced Non-IT Recruiters with strong expertise in recruiting for Federal/Government contracting opportunities, particularly across skilled trades, facilities, engineering, maintenance, procurement, and administrative functions.

This role requires recruiters who understand the unique challenges of Federal staffing, especially sourcing qualified candidates for remote, hard-to-fill, and geographically challenging locations.

We are looking for recruiters who can go beyond traditional job-board sourcing and successfully identify, engage, and close candidates for specialized positions where the talent pool is limited and relocation or remote-site availability may be a challenge.

Relevant Recruitment Experience The ideal candidate should have robust experience recruiting for Federal contract positions, including:

- Skilled Trades & Facilities: Boiler Plant Operators, Journeyman Pipefitters, HVAC Technicians, AC Mechanics, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, and similar roles
- Engineering & Technical: Mechanical Engineers, Engineers, Interior Designers, and related technical positions
- Procurement & Support: Procurement Technicians, Training Specialists, Administrative Assistants, and similar support roles

Experience recruiting for remote, hard-to-fill, or geographically challenging Federal project locations is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities





- Manage full-cycle recruitment for Federal/Government contract positions.
- Source and engage candidates for remote and hard-to-fill locations.
- Recruit skilled trades, facilities, engineering, and technical professionals.
- Use LinkedIn, job boards, databases, referrals, and targeted outreach to build candidate pipelines.
- Screen candidates for experience, certifications, availability, and relocation willingness.
- Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, offers, and onboarding support.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and meet hiring targets.

Required Experience

- 4+ years of Non-IT recruitment experience.
- Experience supporting Federal/Government contracts is strongly preferred.
- Proven success recruiting skilled trades, engineering, facilities, construction, MEP, or O&M; roles.
- Strong sourcing experience for niche, remote, and difficult-to-fill positions.
- Good knowledge of LinkedIn, job portals, resume databases, and Boolean search.
- Strong communication, candidate engagement, and multitasking skills.
