Data Eminence is seeking a motivated Node.js Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will develop and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and server-side applications that support our web platforms and products.

You will collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and other engineers to design and implement reliable backend solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your backend development skills while working with modern technologies in a remote environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and maintaining backend applications using Node.js
- Building and integrating RESTful APIs
- Designing and working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Writing clean, reusable, and maintainable JavaScript or TypeScript code
- Implementing authentication, authorization, and security best practices
- Debugging and troubleshooting backend issues
- Optimizing application performance and database queries
- Integrating third-party APIs and services

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 0-2 years of experience in Node.js development or a relevant internship
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and Node.js fundamentals
- Familiarity with Express.js or another Node.js framework
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON
