At SchoolPad, we’re looking for a React / React Native Developer with strong hands-on experience in React.js, React Native, JavaScript and TypeScript to help us improve and modernise our mobile applications.
You’ll primarily work on our React Native applications for Android and iOS, while also contributing to React-based frontend development where required.

What You’ll Work On
- Build and improve applications using React Native and React.js
- Develop new features for our Android and iOS mobile applications
- Improve application performance, reliability and user experience
- Build reusable components using React and React Native
- Integrate applications with REST APIs and backend services
- Work with push notifications, camera/gallery access, file uploads, authentication and device permissions
- Debug production issues across Android and iOS devices
- Improve existing React Native codebases and application architecture
- Work closely with product and design teams to build simple solutions to real-world problems
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of professional development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with React Native
- Good experience with React.js / React
- Strong JavaScript / TypeScript fundamentals
- Experience building and maintaining production mobile applications
- Good understanding of Android and iOS application development
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Experience with third-party libraries and native device capabilities
- Robust debugging and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with Git and existing production codebases
Good to HaveExperience with any of the following is an added advantage:
- PHP
- MySQL
- CodeIgniter / Laravel
- HTML and CSS
- Backend API development
PHP experience is not mandatory. AI-Assisted DevelopmentWe’re looking for developers who are comfortable using tools such as Claude Code, Codex or other AI coding assistants to understand codebases, debug problems, refactor code and build faster.
At the same time, you should be able to understand, review and take ownership of the code you ship.
