We are seeking a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer with over 7 years of experience to spearhead the design and development of a cloud-native data platform leveraging Microsoft Azure. This position involves the integration of data from numerous enterprise systems to build a cohesive, intelligent data ecosystem tailored for diverse business domains.
Main Responsibilities The primary duties include:
- Designing and implementing automated data pipelines that integrate over 10 enterprise systems.
- Developing efficient data models to support analytics and AI-driven insights.
- Establishing robust data governance frameworks to ensure quality and access control.
- Enabling AI and analytics through the delivery of structured datasets.
- Preparing comprehensive technical documentation and conducting knowledge transfer sessions.
Key Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Fabric (MS Fabric).
- Solid experience in Python programming.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Expertise with Azure Functions.
- Experience with Apache Kafka.
- Knowledge of Docker Containers.
- Familiarity with Data Modeling (Dimensional & Relational).
- Experience with Multi-Source Data Integration (including SAP BW, SAP HANA, Labware, etc.).
- Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture and Real-Time Data Processing.
- Skills in Data Governance and Security.
- Experience with CI/CD and GitHub.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP DataSphere and SAP ERP.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and ETL/ELT processes.
- Robust ownership and ability to work independently in delivering end-to-end solutions.
