Role Description The Merchandiser role at Naukripay group is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Merchandiser is responsible for planning and executing product displays, ensuring optimal stock levels, and maintaining visual standards in retail environments. This role involves coordinating with sales and marketing teams, tracking product performance, and implementing merchandising strategies to increase visibility and sales.

The Merchandiser will regularly visit retail outlets, gather market and customer feedback, monitor competitor activity,



and prepare basic reports on product placement and promotions. The position also includes building effective relationships with store staff and stakeholders to support smooth execution of merchandising plans.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills to interact with internal teams, store personnel, and stakeholders, and to prepare clear reports.

- Customer Service skills to understand shopper preferences, respond to store-level needs, and support a positive in-store experience.

- Sales and Retail skills to manage product placement, monitor sell-through, and collaborate with store teams to drive revenue.

- Basic Marketing skills to support in-store promotions, visual merchandising initiatives, and brand visibility campaigns.

- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, with regular visits to retail locations and flexibility in scheduling as needed.

- Solid attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple products and outlets simultaneously.

- Proficiency in basic MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and data tracking.

- Prior experience in merchandising, retail operations, or FMCG/consumer goods is preferred but not mandatory.

- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
