Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, focused on mechanical maintenance and project-oriented work. The role involves planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical equipment and systems used in tube and pipe manufacturing. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with operations to minimize downtime, using SAP for maintenance planning, tracking, and reporting, and ensuring adherence to API and ISO documentation standards.

The position requires support for engineering projects, reviewing technical drawings, participating in inspections and audits, and maintaining accurate records for compliance and continuous improvement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams,



external vendors, and safety personnel to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient plant operations is an integral part of this role.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on skills in Maintenance and Inspection of mechanical equipment, preferably in steel, automotive, or heavy engineering sectors.
- Ability to work with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing or updating mechanical drawings and layouts.
- Good Involvement of Hydraulic Problem Solving.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for maintenance planning, work orders, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of API and ISO documentation requirements, including standards, procedures, and record-keeping.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with production, quality, and project teams.
- Willingness to work in office in a manufacturing environment and adapt to shift or extended hours when required.
