Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Polavaram.

The Mechanical

Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing mechanical systems and components for infrastructure and industrial projects. Daily tasks include preparing and updating CAD models and technical drawings, supporting machine and equipment design, and collaborating with cross-functional project teams to align engineering solutions with project requirements. The role involves participating in project planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

The Mechanical





Engineer will also contribute to research and development initiatives, troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site, and support continuous improvement in engineering practices and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with knowledge of core concepts such as mechanics, thermodynamics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Machine Design and application of design standards and codes for mechanical systems and components.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA or similar) for 2D/3D modeling and detailing.
- Ability to manage tasks within Project Management frameworks, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and documentation.
- Experience or interest in Research and Development (R&D;), including problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement of mechanical solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of industrial and infrastructure project environments, preferably in sectors such as water, power, or construction.
- Familiarity with relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards and the ability to apply them on-site.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams at project locations.
- Willingness to work in office in Polavaram and adapt to dynamic project needs and timelines.
