Role Description This is a full-time, in office Mechanical Engineer role based in Mumbai.
The Mechanical
Engineer will collaborate with architects and designers to support retail and architectural projects through mechanical systems design, machine components development, and integration with broader project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, supporting R&D; activities, and ensuring mechanical solutions meet performance, safety,
and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with project teams to manage timelines, documenting engineering decisions, and contributing to continuous improvement of design and documentation processes.
The Mechanical
Engineer will also assist in resolving technical issues during fabrication, installation, and maintenance phases.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on experience in Machine Design.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed engineering drawings.
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and tracking deliverables.
- Background in Research and Development (R&D;), including testing, prototyping, and design optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials selection, and relevant industry standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai and support fast-paced, deadline-driven project environments.
