Mission Sustainability is a consulting and implementation partner for sustainable startups, NGOs, and corporates. The role

We are looking for a Marketing & Operations Associate who can combine creativity with execution, strategy with on-ground action, and data with storytelling.

This is a rare hybrid: you will work on real sustainability projects — ESG, carbon, biodiversity — and own how those projects are communicated to the world. If you have studied environmental science or sustainability and want a role where that knowledge is used every day, or you come from marketing and want your work to mean something, this is for you.

What you'll do

- Work on sustainability projects across ESG, carbon accounting, biodiversity, and allied verticals — research, documentation, and client delivery
- Own content and social media for sustainability clients, from ideation and keyword planning through to execution
- Conduct market and sector research, and turn findings into insights clients can act on
- Build presentations, proposals, and reports that win attention and convert
- Design and run outreach campaigns with measurable results
- Craft case studies that show real client transformation
- Get on the ground: visit client and project sites, manage operations,



and make sure impact translates into action
- Coordinate with interns and internal teams to keep projects aligned and moving

Who we're looking for We are especially keen to hear from people with a background in:

- Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Climate Studies, Ecology, or Natural Resource Management (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech.) who want to build commercial and communication skills, or
- Marketing, Communications, Business, or Management with a genuine, demonstrable interest in sustainability and climate

Requirements

- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, operations, sustainability consulting, or a related field. Exceptional freshers are welcome to apply
- Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel — comfortable building dashboards and analysing data
- Robust skills in Google Slides / Canva for storytelling and visual design
- Clear, concise writing and confident communication in English
- Familiarity with cold outreach tools and the ability to cut through the noise
- Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to hit deadlines
- Genuine passion for sustainability and the planet
- Willingness to work on-site in Gandhinagar and travel to project sites as required

Bonus points for

- Working knowledge of ESG frameworks (BRSR, GRI, CDP), carbon accounting, or LCA
- Experience with WordPress, Wix, or other CMS platforms
- SEO, performance marketing, or analytics tooling
- Fluency in Gujarati or Hindi for field and client interactions
