Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune Division, focused on marine diesel engines overhauling. The role involves performing complete overhauls, inspections, and maintenance of marine diesel engines and related systems such as turbochargers, generators, fuel systems, cooling systems, and control equipment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing engine issues, disassembling and reassembling components, replacing parts, conducting performance tests, and ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and manufacturer standards. The role also requires accurate documentation of service activities, preparation of technical reports,



and coordination with supervisors, engineers, and clients to plan maintenance schedules and minimize equipment downtime. Team members are expected to follow strict safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized work area, and stay updated on the latest OEM guidelines and industry best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in marine diesel engines overhauling, including diagnostics, disassembly, reassembly, and performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with associated systems such as turbochargers, generators, fuel injection systems, cooling and lubrication systems, and engine control units.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, OEM manuals, and service bulletins, and apply them in practical maintenance and repair work.
- Knowledge of safety standards, quality procedures, and environmental regulations relevant to marine and heavy engineering operations.
- Proficiency in using mechanical tools, measuring instruments, and basic diagnostic equipment for engines and rotating machinery.
- Good problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills in time-sensitive and operational environments.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaboration with engineers, supervisors, and client representatives.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or a related field; recognized certifications in diesel engines or marine engineering are an advantage.
