We are looking for a “Manager-Projects” for our Ahmednagar factory. Candidate will report to the Head of the Department.
Responsibilities include:
- Need to handle Sugar Projects domestically & internationally.
- Undertaking Current Sugar Plants, Expansions & Modernisations.
- Reading and guiding in General and Fabrication drawings.
- Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
- Preparation of project schedules & project planning, Shipping Schedule and Erection Schedule in EXCEL/MS
Projects Software
- Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.
- Detail-orientation, organizing with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects.
- Continuous communication with engineers and outside customers.
- Running a team of engineers efficiently.
- Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
- Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.
- Handling progress review meetings, Technical meetings & site visits.
- Preparing the progress reports of the project, complete documentation, and monitor site work.
We are looking for:
- Candidate having experience in sugar industry will be preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT, Internet).
- Team spirit, good work ethic and high integrity (we do a thorough background check).
