- Lead and build a maintenance team comprising electrical and mechanical fitters
- Supervise both electrical and mechanical maintenance activities across the plant
- Execute and oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance on production machinery
- Ensure minimum machine downtime through effective maintenance planning
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
- Maintain and operate electrical panels, drives, control systems, and mechanical equipment
- Coordinate with production team for scheduled maintenance activities
- Train and guide maintenance technicians and fitters
- Maintain spare parts inventory and requisition as required
- Maintain maintenance logs and generate reports
- Ensure safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures are followed
- Report to Plant Manager on maintenance status and issues
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance (electrical and/or mechanical) in a manufacturing setup
- Ability to lead and build a team of electrical and mechanical fitters
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, drives, as well as mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Valuable problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of safety practices for electrical and mechanical work
- Must be a local resident of Ahmedabad
Education: ITI (Electrician/Fitter) / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
