We are looking for dedicated and skilled ITI-qualified Machine Operators to join our production team.

Job Summary The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining wire manufacturing machinery to ensure smooth production, quality compliance, and protected operations. The role involves handling wire drawing machines, annealing lines, galvanizing lines, stranding machines, packaging equipment, and other associated production machinery while achieving productivity and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

- Operate steel wire manufacturing machines such as:
- Wire Drawing Machines
- Annealing Furnaces / Lines
- Galvanizing Lines
- Stranding Machines
- Wire Processing Machines
- Coiling and Packing Machines

- Set machine parameters as per production specifications.
- Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and changeover activities.

Production Activities

- Achieve daily production targets as per the production plan.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain production efficiency.
- Ensure minimum process wastage and optimum utilization of raw materials.
- Maintain production records and shift reports.

Quality Control

- Check wire diameter, tensile strength, coating thickness, and surface quality.
- Conduct routine inspections using measuring instruments such as:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Measuring Tape
- Weighing Scale

- Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.





Preventive Maintenance

- Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance.
- Identify and report machine abnormalities to the maintenance team.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.

Safety & Compliance

- Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain good housekeeping as per 5S standards.
- Ensure compliance with Factory Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.

Team Coordination

- Coordinate with supervisors, quality, maintenance, and material handling teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

Qualification

- Educational Qualification: ITI (Fitter / Turner / Electrician / Machinist / Wireman / Welder / Mechanical Trades)
- Additional certification in machine operation or industrial safety will be an advantage.

Experience

- Freshers and candidates with 1 to 5 years of experience in steel wire, steel, engineering, rolling mill, cable, fastener, or manufacturing industries can apply.
- Experience in operating wire drawing, annealing, galvanizing, or similar production machinery will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of machine operations and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality checks.
- Ability to understand production drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Working Conditions

- Rotational shifts, including night shifts.
- Shop floor / manufacturing environment.
- Use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
