They rely on manual labor or equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts while verifying shipment accuracy and maintaining a secure work environment. Key Responsibilities

- Physical Handling: Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments manually or with lifting equipment.

- Inventory Management: Count, weigh, and sort merchandise according to designated storage sequences or delivery schedules.

- Damage Prevention: Secure, brace, and wrap goods properly on pallets or in containers to prevent shifting or transit damage.

- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, hand trucks, and winches (if certified/trained).

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines to prevent workplace injuries,



keeping the loading dock and warehouse floors explicit and organized.

Essential Requirements
- Physical Stamina: High capacity for continuous heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.

- Attention to Detail: Ability to match incoming delivery paperwork (invoices/manifests) with the physical cargo.

- Reliability: Punctuality and readiness to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, or night shifts as required.

- Teamwork: Capability to follow verbal and written instructions and collaborate effectively with drivers and warehouse leads.
