Role: Mechanical Lead - CCPP

Location: Gabon / Nigeria (Africa) – Project Site

Experience: 18–20 Years

Plant: ~230 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant

Salary: Up to USD 4,500 (Net per Month) + Accommodation + Food + Transportation + 6 months once 15days off with round trip airtickets + Visa + Insurance

Role Summary

Lead end-to-end mechanical erection, pre-commissioning, testing & commissioning of CCPP mechanical systems, with responsibility for site execution, contractors, OEM coordination, quality, safety and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Lead erection & commissioning of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Generator, HRSG, Diverter Damper/Bypass Stack & BOP systems .

Manage rotating equipment : BFP, CEP, cooling water/vacuum pumps, compressors, fans and auxiliaries.

Oversee alignment, leveling, grouting, torqueing, hydro-testing, flushing, trial runs and performance testing .

Handle steam, feedwater, condensate, compressed air, cooling water, DM water, fire water & HVAC systems .

Lead valve installation, pressure testing and seat-tightness testing , including HP/control/safety valves.

Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, C&I;, Piping,



OEMs and subcontractors .

Drive site planning, troubleshooting, progress monitoring, quality documentation and punch-point closure .

Enforce HSE, PTW & LOTO standards and act as Site In-Charge when required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering .

18–20 years’ experience in Combined Cycle/Thermal Power Plant projects.

Strong hands-on experience in GT/ST/HRSG erection & commissioning and large rotating equipment.

International project experience and knowledge of ASME/API/ISO standards preferred.

Gabon relocation: Initial assignment at GVK site for up to 6 months for plant dismantling/transportation, followed by relocation to Gabon for construction, erection and commissioning.
