Role Description

Title: Product Manager – Data Governance Experience: 4–5 Years Role Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager with Data Governance experience to drive the strategy, development, and delivery of data governance products and initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business, technology, data, and compliance teams to define product roadmaps, prioritize requirements, and ensure successful implementation of governance frameworks that improve data quality, compliance, and business value.

Key Responsibilities Define and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for data governance initiatives. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, IT, and compliance teams to gather requirements and translate them into product features and deliverables. Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management, from ideation and planning through execution and adoption.

Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder needs. Support and enhance data governance capabilities, including data quality, metadata management, data ownership, stewardship, and governance policies. Track product progress, dependencies, risks, and key performance metrics.

Facilitate stakeholder communication and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams. Prepare product documentation, user stories, business requirements, release plans, status reports, and governance reports. Ensure product solutions align with enterprise data governance standards, policies,



and business objectives.

Support change management, user adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills &

Experience 4–5 years of experience in Product Management, IT Project Management, Data Management, or related domains.

Experience working on data governance, data quality, metadata management, compliance, or data management initiatives. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, and product delivery practices. Ability to define product requirements, manage priorities, and drive stakeholder alignment. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience managing product roadmaps, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills Experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or other Data Governance/Data Quality platforms. Knowledge of data privacy regulations, compliance frameworks, and risk management.

Experience working in cloud-based data platforms and analytics environments. PMP, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile, or Data Governance certifications are preferred. Nice to Have Experience defining KPIs and success metrics for data governance products. Familiarity with master data management (MDM), data cataloging, and governance operating models.

Experience working with enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives.
