You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize cloud environments, improve operational efficiency, and enhance platform reliability through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and cloud-native technologies. You will be responsible for designing and managing AWS infrastructure, automating deployment workflows, supporting cloud migrations, and ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across enterprise cloud services.
Your expertise will contribute to operational excellence, infrastructure automation, and continuous improvement of cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities Design, provision, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git-based workflows. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes (preferably Amazon EKS). Manage cloud networking and DNS services, including Route 53, Cloud DNS, and DNSSEC. Monitor, troubleshoot, patch,
and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Support cloud modernization initiatives, including migrations from on-premises environments to AWS. Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to resolve infrastructure and application issues. Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment, backup, disaster recovery, and operational procedures.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Skills and Tools Required Solid experience with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (preferably Amazon EKS), and containerized deployments.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and pipeline automation.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Solid understanding of networking, DNS, Linux/Windows administration, IT security best practices, and cloud infrastructure.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional engineering environment.
