Job Purpose: The BEx Process Assurance and Operational Excellence Lead is responsible for driving the adoption and execution of process assurance and operational excellence solutions across the organization. This role focuses on ensuring the business optimizes its processes and reduces inefficiencies through solutions like CWS, SPS, and BPR. The BEx Process Assurance and Operational Excellence Lead will track performance metrics, standardize processes, and implement best practices that improve quality, compliance, and overall business performance.

This role will work cross-functionally to ensure that the organization is continuously improving, achieving operational goals, and reducing risks.

Job Responsibilities

BEx Process Assurance and Operational Excellence Lead

Process Improvement & Digital Transformation

Lead continuous process improvement through Challenges Worth Solving (CWS), Structured Problem Solving (SPS), and BPR initiatives.

Enhance automation, reduce manual errors, and improve operational efficiency by implementing digital transformation strategies.

Streamline operations, reduce waste,



and improve interdepartmental efficiency by leading cross-functional projects.

Performance Metrics & Reporting

Ensure measurable improvements by defining and tracking performance metrics aligned with business objectives.

Drive performance improvements and support business goals by implementing and regularly updating the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) for BUs.

Process Governance & Standardization

Improve process consistency and quality by developing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Ensure compliance with ISO and quality standards, driving best practices in process governance.

Training & Capability Building

Enhance process knowledge and operational skills across teams by leading training initiatives.

Support ongoing operational excellence by establishing the Adani Business Excellence Academy (ABEA) and a process assurance mechanism.

Institutionalise The Adani Business Excellence Academy

Create a Virtual organisation Adani Business Excellence Academy which would be responsible for promoting the Business Excellence Roadmap across all BUs through ensuring focussed training & development, monitoring of the Business Excellence activities & their KPIs, promotion of BE roadmap through communication and appropriate R&R;

Responsibilities

Process Assurance & Governance

- Develop and implement process assurance frameworks to ensure adherence to organizational standards and policies.
- Conduct periodic process audits, reviews, and compliance assessments.




- Identify process gaps, risks, and control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.
- Establish governance mechanisms to monitor process effectiveness and compliance.

Operational Excellence Implementation
- Lead deployment of CWS, SPS, BPR, Lean, and other operational excellence initiatives.
- Drive process optimization projects to improve productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and customer experience.
- Facilitate value stream mapping and process redesign initiatives across functions.
- Ensure sustainability of improvements through robust control and monitoring mechanisms.

Performance Monitoring & Analytics
- Define and track operational KPIs and performance metrics.
- Analyze business performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and MIS reports to support management decision-making.
- Monitor achievement of project benefits and operational excellence targets.

Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Promote a continuous improvement culture across business units.
- Facilitate Kaizen, Six Sigma, and problem-solving workshops.
- Support digital transformation initiatives by identifying automation and technology-enabled improvement opportunities.
- Lead change management activities to ensure successful adoption of current processes.

Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business leaders, function heads, and process owners to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide guidance and training on operational excellence methodologies and best practices.
- Present project outcomes, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for implementation and governance activities.

Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure processes comply with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and organizational standards.
- Support risk assessment and mitigation initiatives across operational processes.
- Monitor corrective and preventive action plans to address audit observations and process deviations.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification MBA in Operations / Technology / Supply Chain Work Experience (Range Of Years)

10-12+ years of relevant experience in training, program management, consulting, or strategy.

Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
