We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Tester to join our engineering team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on designing and implementing scalable test automation, API/backend testing, and integrating quality engineering practices into modern cloud-native applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering / Test Automation.
- Robust hands-on experience with Cucumber, REST Assured, Java, and automation frameworks.
- Experience designing and developing reusable automation frameworks.
- Strong experience with API and backend testing.
- Experience with Load and Performance Testing.
- Experience with Mock Testing and Contract Testing.
- Strong programming experience in Java or Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, and CI/CD.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to Splunk or other observability tools.
- Experience with AI-assisted engineering/testing tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or JavaScript.
- Experience testing SaaS applications.
- Exposure to performance or reliability testing.
- Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated UI, API, and backend tests.
- Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in test planning, execution, and release validation.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Use Splunk and other observability tools to support testing and troubleshooting.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve QA productivity and test coverage.
- Contribute to QA process improvements and automation best practices.
- Own QA automation deliverables for assigned features.
- Mentor junior or less experienced QA engineers when required.
