Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role based in Mumbai.

The Junior Interior

Designer will support senior designers in developing interior concepts, preparing layouts, and assisting with space planning for commercial and corporate projects.

Responsibilities include helping create construction drawings, selecting FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), coordinating with vendors and contractors,



and ensuring design details are accurately implemented on site. The role involves conducting site visits and measurements, preparing presentations and mood boards, updating project documentation, and collaborating with the project team to meet timelines and quality standards.

The Junior Interior

Designer will also contribute creative ideas aligned with client requirements and Interex’s design standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Architecture to contribute to concept development and project detailing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning to optimize layouts for functionality, safety, and aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing Construction Drawings to communicate design intent clearly to contractors and vendors.
- Candidates should possess skills related to FF&E; selection to specify appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment for diverse project types.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret design briefs, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced project environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on site and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
