Role Description This full-time, on-site Junior Engineer - Diploma role is based at the Poonamallee location.

The Junior

Engineer will support the engineering and production teams in the design, fabrication, and assembly of trailers, containers, tippers, tankers, bulkers, and related products. Daily responsibilities include assisting in preparing and interpreting technical drawings, coordinating with supervisors and shop floor teams, monitoring production processes, and helping ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.



The role also involves basic troubleshooting of manufacturing issues, maintaining documentation for projects, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The Junior

Engineer will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional departments to meet project timelines and customer specifications.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- Foundational knowledge of fabrication, welding, and assembly processes used in heavy vehicle bodies, containers, trailers, and similar equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, basic CAD exposure, and familiarity with manufacturing documentation.
- Understanding of quality control practices, safety standards, and basic inspection methods in a production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn on the shop floor under guidance from senior engineers.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced industrial setting with a focus on meeting deadlines and supporting continuous improvement.
- Prior internship or experience in a manufacturing or automotive/engineering setting is an advantage.
