Job Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods as per specifications.
- Identify defects and deviations from approved standards.
- Maintain inspection records, reports, and non-conformance logs.
- Ensure production processes comply with company policies and quality standards.
- Monitor and verify proper use and calibration of measuring instruments.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with production team to reduce rejection and rework.
- Submit daily/weekly quality reports to management.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Train production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Maintain traceability of materials and finished goods.
- Ensure proper handling and tracking of samples to avoid mix-ups or loss.
- Support recent product development trials from a quality perspective.
- Monitor rework activities and ensure proper re-inspection.
- Control non-conforming materials and ensure proper segregation.
- Verify first-piece approval before bulk production.
- Conduct line clearance before production start.
- Monitor in-process quality checkpoints on the shop floor.
- Implement and maintain change management processes with proper documentation and approvals.
