Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role located in Agra. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, visual acuity tests, and basic diagnostic screenings, to determine appropriate prescriptions and identify potential eye health issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling customers on lens options and frames, explaining test results in clear terms, and ensuring each individual receives suitable eyewear or referrals for further medical care when needed.

The role involves maintaining high standards of clinical accuracy,



keeping examination equipment and records up to date, and adhering to company protocols and regulatory guidelines. The Optometrist will also collaborate with store teams to support customer experience, address product-related questions, and participate in occasional promotional or community eye check-up activities.

Qualifications

- Qualified qualification in Optometry (Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent) from a recognized institution, with valid registration or eligibility as per local regulations.
- Strong clinical skills in refraction, eye examinations, basic diagnostics, and interpretation of test results.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with diverse customers, explaining clinical findings and product options in simple language.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment, with a customer-centric approach and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of optical products, lens types, and frame styles, along with willingness to stay updated on new eye care technologies.
- Reliable time management, ethical practice, and capacity to work collaboratively with store staff and management.
- Prior experience in a clinic or optical retail setting is preferred but motivated early-career professionals are also encouraged to apply.
