Key Roles &Responsibilities;

- Drive SME premium growth through Agency distribution across Bangalore and adjoining markets

- Identify and develop high-potential SME segments for Agency-led acquisition

- Own and deliver premium, renewal, persistency, and profitability targets for the Agency SME portfolio

- Increase wallet share across SME clients through cross-sell and up-sell of commercial lines

- Build a productive and scalable agency ecosystem with consistent monthly activation

- Design and execute agency productivity, activation, and retention strategies

- Ensure risk-appropriate business sourcing in line with underwriting guidelines

- Closely monitor loss ratios, profitability trends, and SME portfolio performance

- Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Operations, and Product teams to ensure seamless policy issuance and service

- Act as a bridge between Agency teams and internal stakeholders for faster TATs and improved customer experience

- Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations, compliance norms, and company governance policies





Key Requirements – Education & Certificates
- Graduate or Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Marketing / Finance / Insurance) or equivalent

- 12+ years of experience in General Insurance with strong exposure to Corporate / Mid?Market / SME segments, broker, bancassurance, and direct corporate channels

Key Requirements - Experience &Skills;
- Strong exposure to Agency channel management, preferably in SME / Commercial Lines

- Solid understanding of SME insurance products and commercial lines

- Expertise in agency recruitment, activation, and productivity management

- Ability to assess portfolio health, loss ratios, and growth metrics

- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills

- Strategic thinker with strong execution and closure capability

- Proven track record of building and scaling agency sales teams
