Java 8 Developer – Lead Role

About the Role

We are looking for a Java 8 Developer / Lead with strong experience in enterprise Java application development, modernization, and migration.

The candidate should have strong Java fundamentals and hands-on experience with the Spring framework, along with experience in maintaining or modernizing existing enterprise applications.

Must-Have Skills

Candidates must have the following:

- Strong hands-on experience in Java 8
- 6–10 years of overall IT experience
- Strong knowledge of Core Java and Java fundamentals
- Good understanding of:
- Exception Handling
- Modularization
- OOPs concepts
- Collections and other core Java concepts
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring ecosystem, especially:
- Spring Boot
- Spring MVC
- Spring Batch
- Spring Security
- Hands-on experience with at least one ORM framework:
- Hibernate
- OpenJPA
- or equivalent




- Knowledge of Struts and EJB for migration/modernization projects
- Experience in application modernization, migration, remediation, or upgrade projects
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

- What You Will Work On

- Modernizing and upgrading existing enterprise Java applications
- Developing and maintaining Java-based applications
- Migrating legacy applications/technologies
- Working with Spring Boot and other Spring technologies
- Troubleshooting and resolving application issues
- Writing clean, modular, and maintainable code
- Working with technical teams on application modernization initiatives

Candidate Eligibility – Very Important

✅ Solid Spring Boot + Spring MVC + Spring Batch + Spring Security

✅ Experience with Hibernate/OpenJPA or equivalent

✅ Knowledge of Struts & EJB
