The Investor
Relations team serves as the primary interface between the firm and its investors, ensuring exceptional investor experience, fundraising support, and insightful reporting.
Role Overview
We are looking for a senior Investor Relations professional with a strong fundraising track record across real estate and capital markets to lead engagement with a diversified investor base — spanning individual/HNI investors, family offices, and corporate and institutional investors. The role requires solid attention to detail, excellent communication skills, sound understanding of SEBI regulations and fund product structuring, and the ability to coordinate across investment, finance, and compliance teams while working with domestic and international investors. This role's focus will be to raise capital, deepen investor relationships, and ensure timely, accurate, and well-presented information to investors.
This is a high-visibility role with significant ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fundraising efforts across AIFs and other investment products.
- Engaging with and converting a diversified investor base — individual/HNI investors, family offices, and corporate/institutional investors.
- Prepare investor presentations, data rooms, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and other investor-facing collateral.
- Present fund and product structuring — terms, fees, waterfall mechanics, capital calls, and distributions — clearly and accurately to prospective investors.
- Direct investor meetings, webinars, roadshows, etc.
- Have a control over preparation and circulation of quarterly reports, capital call and distribution notices, and fund performance updates.
- Maintain investor records, tracking commitments, drawdowns, distributions, and KYC/AML documentation in coordination with compliance and finance teams.
- Ensure that reporting is compliant with SEBI AIF regulations and the fund's charter documents (trust deed, PPM, and contribution/subscription agreements), working closely with the compliance and legal teams.
- Assist in organising investor meetings, annual general meetings (AGMs), and advisory committee meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes.
- Track and analyse investor feedback, market trends, and competitor fund communications to help refine the fund's investor engagement approach.
- Support onboarding of new investors, ensuring smooth documentation, subscription processing, and coordination with the registrar and transfer agent (RTA).
- Maintain and update investor databases, CRM systems, and reporting trackers to ensure information flow, internally and externally.
- Manage audits and due diligence exercises.
- Uphold high standards of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive investor and fund information.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field. MBA/ CFA (Level I/II)/ CA.
- 7 – 10 years of relevant experience in investor relations and fundraising, with demonstrated exposure to real estate and capital markets.
- Proven track record of raising capital from and managing a diversified investor base — individual/HNI investors, family offices, and corporate/institutional investors.
- Strong working knowledge of SEBI regulations (including AIF Regulations) and familiarity with fund charter documents such as the trust deed, private placement memorandum (PPM), and contribution/subscription agreements.
- Working knowledge of investment product structuring — fund structures, fee and waterfall mechanics, capital call and distribution cycles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare polished investor-facing materials and presentations.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfort working with data-heavy reporting and CRM/database tools.
- High attention to detail, with strong organisational and follow-up skills to manage multiple investor touchpoints simultaneously.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a lean and fast-paced environment with high ownership.
