Avacasa is an AI-enabled marketplace for second-home and vacation-home investment across India and neighboring markets. We have listing coverage across 13 states in India and 5 countries in South and Southeast Asia.

Our role in the transaction is deliberate and narrow. HNI buyers come to us because researching 100+ options across dozens of micro-markets is exhausting, and most brokers are trained to sell rather than to help you think. Our job is the 100→10 shortlist - we cut through vague criteria, structure the trade-offs, verify what is real, and hand our buyer a clean 10-property view to walk into a developer conversation with confidence. The last mile - site visits, negotiation, paperwork - sits with the developer or the seller with active conciege support from us.

We are the product, the data, the matching, and the advisory layer. We are not the broker. That distinction is deliberate - it is what makes us defensible.

About this Role -

You will lead consultative sales for Avacasa. That means:

- Owning the inbound funnel end-to-end, from first inquiry to delivered shortlist
- Turning a buyer's vague investment criteria into a defensible thesis (budget, geography, use-case, holding period, expected yield)
- Using Avacasa's platform, matching algorithms, and micro-market data to compress 100+ options down to a personalized 10-property shortlist
- Coordinating a clean handoff to the developer or seller sales team for site visits and close

This is the first Investment Advisor hire at Avacasa. You set the tone for how we engage every HNI customer going forward.

Primary Responsibilities

- Own the inbound-inquiry funnel - first response inside 2 hours; qualified triage inside 24 hours
- Deliver a personalised 5-10 property shortlist per client within 30 days of first contact




- Coordinate handoff to developer / seller with a clean brief on buyer intent, budget, and open questions
- Publish weekly funnel metrics (inbound → qualified → shortlist delivered → handoff → site visit → close) to Praveen + Arkin
- Build the "100→10 in 30 days" playbook — documented process, templates, checklists — by end of month 2

Secondary Responsibilities

- Feed buyer-demand-by-geography signals back to Supply and Data functions
- Contribute anonymized case studies of successful advisory engagements to the Content & Marketing function

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years in one or more of: luxury brokerages, private wealth relationship management, family-office analysis, or premium real-estate advisory (JLL Residential, Cushman & Wakefield residential advisory, Knight Frank, India Sotheby's - advisory side, not brokerage side)
- Demonstrated experience walking HNI clients through crore-scale investment decisions
- Comfort with data tools - Excel, dashboards, CRM , and willingness to work inside our matching algorithms and internal analytics
- Consultative style - you would rather help a client walk away from the wrong property than close them into it
- Honest communication - no inflated projections, no hard-sell posturing
- Comfort with our operating model: drafts for customer-binding communications go through the CEO until autonomy is earned (this is how the team works, not a temporary constraint)

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior real-estate exposure (residential, plotted, or vacation-home segments)
- Existing HNI relationships in Indian metros or NRI corridors (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Dubai, Singapore)
- Multi-market or international exposure (relevant to our Bali, Thailand, and South Asia coverage)
- Understanding of the two-flows discipline - advisory/brokerage income is distinct from SPV / fractional investment structures

Compensation

- Basic fixed salary based on profile
- Variable: Uncapped commission based successful sales closure.
- Final structure will be locked in post discussion.
- Equity: 0.5% – 0.75% ESOP, 4-year vest, 1-year cliff.
