Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Model Town.

The Interior

Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, space plans, and detailed layouts that align with client requirements and VYOM AEC’s design standards. Daily tasks include preparing mood boards and material palettes, creating drawings and 3D visualizations, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors, and assisting with site inspections to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.



The role involves meeting with clients to understand functional and aesthetic needs, updating designs based on feedback, and supporting project documentation for approvals and construction.

The Interior

Designer will also research current materials, finishes, and design trends to contribute to innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in interior space planning, concept development, and creating layouts for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar 3D modeling and rendering software.
- Ability to develop material and furniture specifications, select finishes, and coordinate color schemes and lighting design.
- Experience preparing technical drawings, detail drawings, and documentation for construction and approvals.
- Capability to coordinate with project teams, vendors, and contractors, and to conduct site visits for quality and design compliance.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles, building codes, and basic MEP coordination relevant to interior projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in a design or architecture firm is preferred.
