Role Description The Interior Design Intern will support the design team in developing and refining interior concepts for Saltstayz properties, with a focus on guest comfort, aesthetic appeal, and functional use of space. This full-time, on-site role in Delhi, India includes assisting with space planning, mood boards, furniture layouts, and FF&E; selections, as well as preparing drawings and presentations for internal reviews.



The intern will help coordinate with vendors and contractors, conduct site visits, and assist in tracking project progress and quality standards.

Daily tasks may also involve documenting design decisions, maintaining sample libraries, and contributing creative ideas that align with the brand’s identity and guest experience goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, guest-focused layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Furniture and FF&E; selection to support cohesive, high-quality design schemes.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers, vendors, and in office teams.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspace is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced hospitality environment are important.
