Role Description The Interior Design Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves managing end-to-end interior design projects, from initial client consultations and requirement gathering to design development, approvals, and final handover.
The Interior Design Project
Manager coordinates space planning, interior layouts, furniture selection, and construction drawings, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout execution. Daily responsibilities include supervising site work, collaborating with designers, vendors, and contractors,
monitoring project timelines and budgets, and resolving in office issues to keep projects on track. The role also requires maintaining clear communication with clients, providing regular updates, and ensuring quality standards and safety guidelines are met.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
- Candidates should possess proven Project Management abilities, including scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Construction Drawings and detailing for execution.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Furniture design, selection, and customization.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience managing residential interior projects from concept to completion.
- Proficiency in design and project tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office) is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and site supervision skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
