Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Architect MERN Stack / React Full Stack to provide enterprise-wide architectural leadership and define the technology vision for large-scale digital platforms. The role will be responsible for driving architecture strategy, technical governance, modernization, scalability, performance, and engineering excellence across multiple products and development organizations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and own the enterprise application architecture and technology roadmap for large-scale web and digital platforms.
- Provide strategic technical leadership across multiple products, platforms, and engineering squads.
- Architect highly scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance applications using modern React / MERN / Full Stack technologies.
- Establish architectural principles, standards, design patterns, frameworks, and reusable technology components across the organization.
- Provide technical direction around React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, APIs, distributed systems, and modern application architectures.
- Drive architecture modernization, platform transformation, technology rationalization, and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, platforms, and architectural approaches based on business and technical requirements.
- Define strategies for scalability, availability, performance, security, maintainability, and reliability.
- Establish enterprise-level engineering standards covering design, development, testing, deployment, observability, and quality.
- Review and govern solution architectures for complex and business-critical initiatives.
- Identify architectural risks, technical debt, scalability constraints, and system bottlenecks and define long-term remediation strategies.
- Partner with senior leadership, product, engineering, security, infrastructure,



and business stakeholders to align technology strategy with organizational objectives.
- Mentor and guide Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and senior engineering teams.
- Drive technical governance, architecture reviews, design councils, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
- Ensure architectural decisions support long-term business growth, operational efficiency, and technology sustainability.
- Champion engineering excellence, innovation, automation, reusability, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills :

- 14+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, and technology leadership.
- Extensive experience architecting large-scale enterprise web applications and digital platforms.
- Deep expertise in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Robust understanding of MERN Stack and modern Full Stack architectures.
- Extensive knowledge of architectural patterns, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, scalability, performance engineering, and cloud architecture.
- Strong understanding of security, reliability, observability, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience defining enterprise technology standards and architecture governance.
- Experience leading architecture across multiple products, teams, or business units.
- Strong understanding of technology modernization and digital transformation.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and leadership skills.

- Proven track record of owning architecture strategy for enterprise-scale platforms.
- Experience managing complex technology ecosystems and large engineering organizations.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business objectives into technology strategy.
